Daria Ostroverkhova, PhD student

April 2021 -

Daria received her B.S. from the First Moscow Medical University, with a major in pharmaceutical sciences. During her undergraduate degree, Daria investigated a tumor-associated protein and mechanisms underlying interactions of the protein in complexes with estrogens and antiestrogens. Later, she worked for one year at Sechenov University, Russia, where she applied a molecular modeling approach for studying the regulation of calcium-sensing receptor, WNK kinases, and Na/K-ATPase. Currently, she is working on identifying driver epigenetic processes in human cancers.
