Alisa Kuznetsova, PhD student

August 2026 -

Alisa completed the Biotechnology program at St. Lawrence College in 2025, followed by the completion of her B.Sc. (Hons). At ATU Sligo, Ireland. She started her PhD program at Queen’s in Sept. 2026 at the Panchenko and Aristizabal labs, aiming to bridge in vitro and in silico techniques to classify and to understand the mechanism of action of somatic histone mutations observed in cancer patients.

In her free time, Alisa enjoys reading fantasy and sci-fi novels, hiking and dancing.
